As the temperatures start to turn, people start spending more time indoors.
When indoors some people enjoy using scented candles. Without thinking they place the candles in spots such as on the coffee table, or a side table beside the couch.
Unfortunately, these are not the best spots for candles, as they are the perfect place for a tail to come in contact with them or for them to be knocked over.
It just takes a second for our furry friends to run their tails thru the open flames and catch fire or for them to accidently knock the candle over with a tail – should you have a dog with a happy tail. I know I did.
Or for our cats to rub up against them and accidently knock them over.
There are great alternatives out there such as flames candles. Remember to help keep our pets safes.
