Spring has sprung and hopefully the allergies haven’t and won’t. Having said that it is not uncommon for pets to develop allergies that are seasonal.

As the weather warms up we’ll be spending more time outside with our pets.

Some things that can trigger symptoms are trees, grass and pollens are the big triggers.

If you notice your pet acting differently then normal you might want to contact your vet or take them in to have them looked at.

Signs that your pet might have allergies are:

  1. Excessive biting and scratching.
  2. Inflamed and Infected Skin
  3. Excessive shedding
  4. Paw licking
  1. Itchy, runny eyes
  2. Itchy or red ears, or frequent ear infections
  3. Sneezing
  4. Red, irritated skin
  5. Hair loss
  6. Large, open sores around feet
  7. Constant licking
  8. Swollen paws
